But WhiteMagic is NOT a software thing, it has something to do with the hardware.
So I don't understand why SONY incorporate WhiteMagic into BraviaEngineII...
WhiteMagic has to do with the display technology, means each pixel has 4 subpixel instead standard 3. >HW
BraviaEngine is just to make the colors better through software optimization... >SW

The JDI will produce LCD right? I just don't like any OLED anymore especially SAMOLED after seeing the screen burn on my cousin's galaxy S2. Such a shame for a best selling phone. I wonder if those people who bashes Sony especially Eldar knows about these things.

LDP, has came back to power and won majority of the seats
The party leader, the new prime minister, Shinjo Abe said that he will push the Easy money policy and public spending to fight deflation and make the country to go back to economics growth
This means we might see lots of Japanese companies receive lots of financial helps from the new Gov
The bad side? They are a little bit right wings and nationalist
But they are committed to tide alliance with the US and trying to improve the relationship with neighbor countries

Korean like Samsung/LG and many other companies get more than 15 year Government support that's why Samsung or LG Huinday you name it get so big with the cash from their government.
It's about time that Japan see that threat from Korea and China companies who support their companies.

About time hope the govt helps these companies.
I feel it will be better idea to work with rival Japaneses company like a 50-50 joint venture and share their ideas and tech not everything obviously instead of cash.
These Japaneses companies should help each other.Brothers in arm.
