I really do hope that Sony Mobile plans to have SOMETHING to tie in with the PS5 release. The PS5's gonna be a monstrous hit and if Sony Mobile's got some quality offerings to tie in with it then they could ride the PS5's coattails in selling many millions of devices.
Not saying that I believe that Xperia Play 2 rumor, but if they do make a device with physical controls I wonder if it'd be better to market it as a phablet or a compact tablet. If it has 5G then I suppose it could be both, people could keep their own phones and buy this to game on the go, or some could replace their existing phones with it

Esato used to be a source of leaks and rumors. Now it's just a parrot for androidnext and leakers on twitter and elsewhere.
would rather this thread not be updated then continually updated with links to the same website over and over.
not to mention there doesn't seem to be any active mods anymore.. so we have to do our part as active members to police the threads/forums as best we can. do try to think twice before posting something. is it relevant to the thread? is it constructive and/or informative?
let's all do our part!

Yeah.... I do agree with all these.
Even my source that leaked 1 II back then doesn't leak the phone anymore, I don't know why. I've heard that it's because he doesn't work with sony anymore.
Now people that will leak sony phones might be those that also leak phones from other manufacturers too, just like Max weinbach, max j, evan blass, roland quandt, and onleaks. I'm kinda mad that it won't be exclusive to us anymore, especially that people like tony and many others out there are gone already, haven't heard anything from them since before 1 II.
I think yeah, it's also not good that the thread is empty, but it's still better to keep imaginative speculations to the minimum to decrease the amount of hope we'll have later. The last time sony rumours were fun was actually earlier this year with the 1 II (at least for me) 🙃
