I got me a HDD question... As in the hard disk drive.

About 8months or so ago my 20GB Xbox did a RROD on me... So to save all the messing about i just bought an arcade xbox360 and stuck my old 20GB HDD on it. I had to go on the M$ website and register the serial number on the xbox with the old HDD so i could access everything i had previously downloaded and not have to download it or payfor it again.

Now i seem to remember some where during the process it told me i could only change HDD once every 12months? But i want to upgrade my HDD to a 120GB one.

So my question is... If i buy a 120GB HDD (which are currently only £45 del. on Play.com) will i be able to transfer all my saves and downloads and still be able to access them or do i have to wait until the 12months is up before i can re-register a new HDD with my xbox?

Anybody out there changed HDD's more than once in 12months and transfered all saves and stuff with no probs? Any help appreciated...

Cheers

The only way to do it is with one of these:

@lukechris

You got the wrong end of the stick matey.

That thingy is supplied with the new HDD. The problem i have is that M$ won't let you use DLC from anyother HDD except the one that is registered to your XBL account on your xbox. I'm just wondering if anyone has swapped HDD more than once in 12months and had no problems really...?

Not really into COD type games, even though I love Bioshock and Dead Space (which by the way if you've never played DS, its one scary ass game, especially using surround sound and in the dark lol)
