Its reality and if Sony implements in a perfection ,they check the use of it and make us to proper use...no comments on Sony using these,there software department should be updated and that is what they are doing it.

Can I take it then that the new flagship will not be shown at MWC or soon after? Are we expecting the true flagship to remain hidden until IFA?

Yes, I'm 99% sure that there won't be a big upgrade flagship for MWC. Regarding the 2H flagship, I'm not so sure when it would be revealed. Logically from what we see in the past, IFA would make sense. One issue that causes Sony to do 2 iterations seems to stem from suppliers. If Qualcomm release their processors earlier, Sony can move to 1 flagship/year strategy, but releasing their new processors mid year is hard to cope with.

About the design, i have no doubt that sony can reduce or even cut in half the top and bottom bezel while keeping all the latest features but they always choose a thinner profile over smaller bezel and thicker profile. they obviously think that thinner profile will be appealing to more people over thinner bezel. G2's design is not genius at all - it doesn't have side buttons, it's not waterproof and it's the thickest flagship out of all. there are pros and cons in everything. i'm sure that even if sony will reduce the phone bezels dramatically then people will start ranting about the phones thick profile - "it's too thick - it's like a block!". i'm not sure what i'd like more - it depends on how thick a profile would be with a thinner bezel. i'd like to see sony release a highend device with the latter design with all the latest hardware features and see what reactions it gets.

I'm not talking bout that. I find them gimmicky and nothing more.

Talking about things like double tap to wake, power management , accessory management, the practical things that actually work properly and make a difference (to me)

Many of these features exist in Samsungs, from Glove Mode, Simple Home screen, to Power Management with options to clock down CPU, Auto Adjust screen tone to save power, Auto Adapt display and lower screen refresh rate. Accessory Management has also been around, not sure how deep Sony's one is though, but with accessories like the S View Cover, Samsung had no choice but to ensure they have this.

Double tap to wake and the answering machine thing stand out to me as something we haven't seen in Samsung, I liked the former in the LG G2, makes using the phone that much more fluid, so good on Sony for implementing it.

@Tsepz_GP

You are correct on that. I really wish Samsung, and other manufacturers, minimise the gimmicky stuff. And focus on simplifying things and implenting software that consistantly works. I just think Samsung are the worst at this.

Anywho. Moving on.

Lol, not this again...
Could you please read properly? I'll simplify it for you, we are basically saying these features exist already, we are not saying they are taken or copied from anyone, just the fact that they already exist and are not new.
