has anyone updated the psp firmware? i have a japanese psp firmware ver. 1.0 and have read that you need to update its firmware to ver 1.5 to play certain games..

The f/w upgrade is on the PSP website but if I were you I wouldn't bother, there is no real changes or improvements and at the moment v1.0 can play all homebrew s/w while newer f/w cannot

btw what is the home brew software and cracked games i keep reading that you can play on the psp and where do you get them from?

hi all!
borrowed wipeout pure over the weekend, and i must say the game is just sooo crap! the graphics r quite pixelated and event tho websites say its fast i disagree - just my opinion tho!
anyways i really need help on putting the game boy color/advance emulator on ma psp (v1.50) and psphackes etc are quite hard to understand, can anyone break it down for me?
btw i already have a few .gba and .gbc files...
