Wanqa
Yep especially that round scroll wheel, the design is something you would expect on some Samsung Fashion orientated phone. The X1 definetly looks better. I'd expect the next Pseries Flagship to have a similar design to P990 or P1, the whole sliding form is just not a Pseries. . . . thing lol.

@da wanqsta: Thanks for posting those "P5" pics...something tells me it will have another name. From what I can see, it will definitely be a grease magnet...so any considering this phone or any of the new SE's that come with a glossy finish will need a screen protector.

I'm leaving sunny Cape Town on Friday morning, landing in KL 12 hours later and then getting a connecting flight that takes me to Bangkok.

OT: Just got back from a book launch by Alex Boraine at the Mount Nelson Hotel where Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu also spoke and have to say it was quite enjoyable listening to people who speak to power without fear.

PS: HOBBS...I might be throwing a farewell of sorts at Mojito's in Long Street on Thursday night...email me tommorow or Thursday morning for an update.

@ da brixsta:
Yeah, I'll second that gut notion about it possibly not being designated 'P5i'. PeterKay had a prototype, but as we know these usually have the generic 'SE123' prototype designation.
Let's hope it's got the specs to impress; for some reason I'm not overly optimistic..

Mfowethu, in case you're too busy sorting things out before Friday's departure to Kuala Lumpur, I wish you the very best of luck with your year-long venture in south-east Asia.
Hopefully you'll have sufficient opportunities to still visit us here at esato, from Jojo's back yard.. Keep in touch, mate.

Hamba gahle, mhlekazi.

I second the sentiments expressed by Wanqa, Brix. Have a safe and uneventful journey, buddy, and may your sojourn abroad be enriching. (and you'd better invite us to the wedding!)

Have passport, will travel
