With that big lens the Nexus 5 ? looks very promising. Google has promised a great camera with their new phone. Interesting times.
Yea, I'm having a crisis because I've been following the Z1 for months now and have wanted to get one as soon as I can here in the States, but this thing is throwing me for a loop. Making me want to wait and see. The thing is, I've had Nexus devices before and I'm using a vanilla OS on a rooted GS3 right now and the AOSP camera software has always been awful.

I'm suffering from Sony overload here folks. There's just so much going on, I don't know where to focus my attention!
We have Z1, rumored Z1 Mini, Tablet Z refresh, QX10 and QX100, PS4, HMZ-T3, and now a rumored virtual reality headset for PS4 to rival Occulus Rift.
And IFA hasn't frickin' started yet! Holy shit Sony! At IFA we're sure to see new Bravias, new VAIOs, new ebook readers, and who knows what other mystical devices.
I am saddened that the IFA conference tomorrow starts just as I begin my work shift

I'll try to stream it if at all possible.

4.4 Kit-Kat - biggest product placement deal ever I reckon. Not in terms of the monetary value but in coverage. Everyone in the established android markets now is suddenly thinking of Kit-Kats, everyone in developing markets will pick up an android Kit-Kiat and think about choosing android as their next device. Win-Win.
Truly massive big deal.

I would definitely follow tips and best practices to avoid having my contact list accessed by apps, etc...
XPrivacy can prevent applications (including associated background services and content providers) from leaking privacy sensitive data. XPrivacy can restrict the categories of data an application can access. This is done by feeding an application with no or fake data. There are several data categories which can be restricted, for example contacts or location. For example, if you restrict access to contacts for an application, this will result in sending an empty contact list to the application, when it requests access to your contacts. Similarly, restricting an application's access to your location will result in a random or set location being sent to the application....
You need to be rooted though, you can read more about it

Does that mean this Sony site banner is wrong? It shows just over an hour to go...
