Great news RamU!!! I think there might have been some faulty screens in the initial batches. Or maybe some calibration issues. 4 more days to go for the launch in India!!! Tooo excited on buying a new phone after almost 4 years.

BTW people using XZ, how is the sound quality of the headphone supplied in the box? Does it have good bass?

I don't know why but I'm still worried about the heat. I don't play games because of heat. When that day will come when I can play games on a smartphone!

There is no overheating issue. It gets about as warm as Xperia S/T/V etc. Nobody has any complains regarding heat.

As always..whenever Sony releases a new phone theres always nit picking and complaints..but when people get their hands on the phone. They are happy with it. Thats why I always say wait until you get your hands on the phone before making any judgements.

I have used XS for gaming and it gets hot while playing games, but it is not uncomfortable to handle during gaming. I guess with the faster processors, phones will continue giving out heat. There is no possibility of using active cooling in phones. There is no way out.

Got my Z today. Overall I'm very happy with it. No issues regarding the display. Screen does NOT look washed out, and somewhat surprisingly delivers pretty decent blacks too. This phone so far is lag free and a joy to use.

great to hear that bro. i hope my unit is the same as yours which i bought thru clove. Still waiting for
delivery. Currently, it is in Heathrow London as per tracking in DHL site. Cheers!

This is an actual user review of the retail unit of the xperia z not a review unit. They said the screen looks great and has nice contrast. One user said the screen of the retail unit of the xperia z is much better than the ones in the shop.

The colours and contrast looks nice!
