@shotokan - depends on docomo.. kaz promises global release by end of this month, but that's from sony directly. carrier branded phones will have their own release schedule for sure.

Thanks Moogoo, yea I bet Mid October for the release.
I am wondering if the firmware update to get the most out of the camera will need a push from Docomo (or telcos in general)
I think we will hear from Aurelius at some point.
Would be a shame docomo delays this and would put it closer to the 2014 H1 release. Can my iphone survive by then is my other question, 3G starts to feel slow)

Yes 3x lossless zoom
Z1 also features pixel binning
