because there was nothing groundbreaking with their announcement. they just bragged about this and that without any demonstration.
nevertheless, hirai was a really good speaker. compared to that samsung guy who could hardly speak english, hirai was more convincing but sony's announced products had nothing worth the applause.

sony had the polish on their presentation that samsung didn't quite have. maybe it was because their speaker wasn't as charming as kaz.
i didn't notice much clapping at either presentation though. and the samsung one was so short! just 15 minutes if i recall correctly.

At least they didn't use fake clapping like ms at e3. Not often you see crowd goes crazy like when Sony announce Ps4 support used games at E3 at a electronic press conf.

that is pretty slick, but i was kind hoping for a true Z successor! I want something slim, sexy and light for on the go but with a dock to add more power when you're at home.
oh well. guess i'll wait another year to upgrade the ole laptop.

Phones, tablets, cameras, TVs, game consoles, computers... Sony are doing an amazing job.
I was originally going to get the Tablet Z refresh, but then I saw the Tap 11 tablet... then I saw the Flip! Holy shit I'm in love with that Flip. Very glad I didn't invest in the Duo 13 because I'd be PISSED right now, lol. Going to keep an eye on the 15" Flip for pricing and if I can make the budget for it, IT SHALL BE MINE!

the QX100 is priced high because it is equivalent to RX100 II image quality, don't be quick to judge the price
if you look at RX100 II high ISO samples you'll realize the price is fair for that kind of equipment. As for the cheaper QX10 variant I do agree it is less favorable and would only get it for the zoom capabilities and the ability to take difficult angle shots.
