do any of you guys use the image stabilizer feature?
does this degrade the image quality at all?
I use it cause I have shaky hands.
It's said that the quality is not as good as when stabilizer is off though.
guality is the SAME...sharpness improved,slighty but improved.I always used image stabilizer OFF=Better sharpness.
quality isnt as good with stabilizer on so have it off

man, i tried to take some pictures of some halloween lights i have up on my house at night.. its pretty dark out, and the pictures came out just awful..
they are either too dark, or way too much noise if i try to raise the EV.
i don't really know if I am expecting too much from this camera or just not using the right settings, or the picture is gonna look like crap no matter what camera i use because the lighting is not not good enough..
help??

@jake
it really happens when there is not enough light, no matter how good your camera is.
I realized that iso driver is more important than effect driver cause you can add effects in photo DJ

DM 3.7 seems to be darker than DM3.5... this comparison here now really makes me
think that i like DM 3.5 a little better.
both lower light shots, no Flash, Twilight Portrait
DM 3.5
DM 3.7
