Note how he said that they won't be releasing any more phones this year.
That was the impression I had all along since they mentioned that they were releasing less phones this year.
That makes avmaxfan's posts wrong. They may announce phones this year for release next year.

yes, SE is looking at the quieter route. The time from announcement to release is getting shorter which is always a plus. Hopefully, the ones they announce this month or the next will be something mind blowing. I'm actually cautiously optimistic.

I think if Eldar hints at a 12mp android, then he most likely knows what he's talking about. A couple weeks ago, he posted that SE had sent him a large number of new prototypes, which he obviously couldn't talk about.

Anyways I stand by what I posted earlier. SE will announce a new Android phone soon and believe me when they do, you all will be elated
and pleasantly surprised too
Its going to be an EXTREMELY powerful device and one of the biggest launches in SE history.
P.S. I am not trolling here, just sharing what I know thats it. And you will soon get the proof when
announces this phone.
