GUCCI
I have to admit that it is enough to make me one of the darksiders and as JC said, it shouldn't be too expensive. But we live in SA, probably going to cost double. obviously we'll have to see, don't want to jInx anything i think i just did

Im also looking at the N78 lol, hmmm. . . August should be an interesting month.
The N78 is going to be released in Euro at a lower price than the N81 MicroSD version, so it should be well priced.
I cant wait to see S60 OS9.3 FP2 in action in the N78,it now has animated menus, and transitions. Also i read that you can set your own voice as a warning tone, so when the battery is flat instead of playing the low batt sound it will play what ever you wrote/recorded talk about being TOO customizable. Lol

Most sites claim N78 will be released at 350€ yet the N81 was released at 360-380€ and the 8GB was over 400€, and i got the N81 soon after release for R4200 so imagine the N78. it should easily fall in to the Weekend Everyday contract or Business Call on Vodacom then, anyway im just assuming according to how they did this with the N81.

Guess your assumptions with regards to the price are pretty reasonable. Don't get me all excited for nothing now. In that case, might as well ditch the whole contract thing, wouldn't want it vodafone branded. Anyway, mtn is probably going to get it before vodacom. check this out, lol http://stevenmcd.net/wordpress/2008/05/virgin-mobile-nokia-n78/

OMG! Some member at Prodigits who lives in Benoni also said that Virgin told him it was available and gave him choice of upgrading to either N81, N78 or N82, i never realy believed him,but now im having 2nd thoughts LOL! As Francois said maybe Virgin are smoking their socks R5400 also makes sense since Virgin offered the N81 at R5599.
Ye rather get it on MTN, strangely though a close friend of mine upgraded from his Voda branded W850 to an unbranded N82 on Vodacom lol.

haha, it's a conspiracy! ! ! R5400 is a bit too much, i might as well get the w960i, but then again the n78 seems to be way ahead of it... Maybe virgin does have it, who knows. lol, sock smokers, that's just crazy.

LMAO! who knows!
Ye R5000 is pretty steap. Lol with all the great releases coming i think you may regret the W960 especialy if you're planning to keep it for the next 2years, coming from a W900 i think a N78 is a better upgrade.
@ All
Does anyone know about the Vodacom Wlan/Wi-Fi packages? Please post a link or any details you know about it, thanx.

@ gola:
The UK's Carphone Warehouse are expecting the initial batches of the N78 towards the end of this coming week or early the following week.
It's definitely not in stores here just yet.
