Note3 looked dim and reddish, as if it didn't have enough nits to get the colors as bright as the other two.

You enjoy having conversation around rumored specs of phones' cameras? Then enjoy and no need to justify.
Anyone who is disapointed should think about why, how they should handle rumors going forward, and not look for scapegoats.
@Ramu: I think this will be difficult to prevent everyone to talk about next flagship in 2013 if it releases in Q1 and is announced in January at CES. I think people will always be interested by flagships, and I count myself. Can we handle a bit of 2014 rumor in the 2013 thread? I think it will be calledthe Xperia Z2, logical, no?
@unknown: Yes, technological prowess does not mean comercial success, and Nokia is here to testify, no offense to fans. Sony is and should go after profitability, not after 1020... The one great thing anout the 1020 is that if people want it, they can buy it, rather than feel disapointed about phones they don't want. If they want something that does not exist, then, unfortunately, it does not exist.
Off topic/competition related:
So Nexus 5 sports a Nikkor lens with 1/1.7 sensor like coolpix?
This is the big lens that leaked in the kit kat video?

For some reason that walkman didn't look as exquisite as the flagship Xperia (Z/Z1/ZU). the
logo looked dated and it just doesn't fit, would be happier if the logo became a lighting indicator at the bottom center which is not visible when not active

duh, Note3 didn't even came close from the Z1/G2 judging by that video (Noticeably dimmer and quite reddish)
