@shivam
The DNS addresses you have shown are wrong. Airtel uses 202.56.250.5 & 202.56.250.6. However, it should start from 202.56.xxx.xxx

@Dheeraj
Dude. Regarding your ping DNS trick. Have u tried it on a class 10 gprs phone with airtel MO? Pls tell me what is the maximum speed u could get with airtel MO. I tried your trick with airtel MO on my w550i (class 10 Gprs). My dns is 202.56.250.5. The maximum speed i could get is 6KB/sec . I believe thats the maximum capacity of a class 10 gprs phone(6 X 8 = 48kbps).
Whereas on the other hand, your trick seems to be workin gr8 for CDMA mobiles on reliance, tata, etc and normal broadband users.

@AlanDs
Dude, What is the maximum speed u could get using Dheeraj`s trick? I think u got MO and an EDGE phone. I wanna know if EDGE makes any difference using this trick..

yeah from few days me too getting slow speed :

u know why airtel gprs is too slow? i did little study on rconnect and airtel and i found the reason why airtel gprs is too slow.

airtel uses same server for all their value added service eg: airtelgprs, airtelmms, airtel live etc but reliance uses different service for rworld [202.138.125.20 and 202.1.8.125.107] and rconnect. reliance is using different server for 4 zone of india
north, south, east, west
220.224. for west and ip range 220.226. for noth etc for rconnect.
thats why their service is very fast coz.
but because airtel is using same server for all the service their server has too much load on it. thats why their server goes down every time.
situation is same with tata indicom.

why Reliance's rconnect service is so perfect?
Reliance's network infrastucture is maintained by Lucent corp

if u want good speed than my suggestion is give a try to linux
u will get more speed on linux than windows.

for more detail click here http://www.desi-tek.com/forum[....]?showtopic=398&view=getnewpost

u can not find such a small script for airtel gprs any where else.
