What're you talking about when you say, "Sony chose the 2.2 Ghz chip because of cost reasons since its cheaper"? It's the same S800 CPU, just clocked at a different frequency. Reasons for doing so could be anything from heat buildup to battery life.

Look up the term "binning"
The 2.3 Ghz version is the better binned part so its more expensive to purchase. The 2.2 Ghz runs on higher voltage and therefore also runs hotter wich is why its clocked lower and sold cheaper

Anyway, I think the point is that the image of the chipset 8974 vs 8974AB is that it was advertising the Xiaomi 3 handset as having the best chip out there.

QX10 is a simple compact camera quality-wise. For great low-light results you really need the QX100.
USP of the QX10 is the 10x optical zoom (which performs great in daylight).

So the 2.2GHz S800 used by Sony is eating more power, is that why the Z Ultra had such a disappointing battery score at GSMArena? It got 52hours if I'm not mistaken, quite low for a 2013 flagship as compared to S4 and even Note2.

The Ultra can be only compared to Note3 for my guessing
When will it come?
My thought at 2014 CES
So in first half of every year you will have a smaller flagship of the previous year, and a new generation tablet
The second half you will got updated tablet, New 5 incher flagship and New phaplet
