i have a few bugs with my phones
1. when i watch youtube videos the phone crashes only i can hear the sound no picture and i can't press anything anymore i have to remove the battery
2. when somebody calls me the phone keeps ringing and even though i didn't want to answer the call, i have to remove the battery
3. when i am using the wifi and then when i turn it off, when i am making a call the call keeps telling me calling .... calling ... calling ... but nothing. it turn out to the other person can hear me and i can't lol.. i have to remove the battery
4. camera somtimes it crashes i have to remove the battery
5. when i am trying to use the stylus in the sms sometimes it goes to the left but it self and i see it on the screen

does anyone have any of the above problems?

over all i love the phone even though i have to keep removing the battery once every two to three days. lol i can' wait for the p5i

No, I haven't noticed any of the above mentioned bugs.


Does someone know were to find information about SW updates for the W960? Cause I don't want to try and update the phone just to see if there is one available.

just wondering if changing system fonts and main menu ICONS are safe for W960? of anyone has done it already and finds no problem appear thereafter?

Hi

I've changed the fonts on mine a couple of times and it works fne. There's a guide on the forums here:

It all works a treat although some look better than others.

thanks for the enlightment, i do however change my fonts regularly, but what i wonder is that, when you change the icons in the main menu. it worked fine during my P1i days, but now i don't have guts to play around again since i have a failed W960 earlier, due to unknown cause

and just suspecting if changin the icons, which involved a system folder may trigger this

I've seen a guide somewhere on changing icons but it looked a bit involved and I didn't want to risk it!!

So I'll stick with changing fonts for the time being, at least till someone writes an easy way to do it!!

just ordered mine from vodafone...arrives friday.. got the whole weekend to mess with my new baby!!

thanks for all the info and reviews guys, SE are the best phones at the mo, this will be my 4th... Z600, K750i, W810i and now the W960i

when i use walkman, or when i wrote an SMS, or when i wrote something using touchscreen apears me 3 simbols, does anybody know how cand i make that disapear ?? what is and why i have it ? can i disable it ?

Yours is the HK firmware, is it?
Try disabling Chinese input in the control panel.
