A lot of people are complaining about the camera quality of the K850 atm and seem to think that it will hurt sales. But think about how successful the K800 was/is and the K750 before that. Many people just upgrade their handset to the update from the manufacturer. Ok the K850 is not out a year after the K800, more like 18 months, but think of those who took an 18 month contract! Lots of people are satisfied with the K800 and will just upgrade to the K850.

Only a small percent of people (like those who are active on forums) actually look closely at a phone before release. The majority see an upgrade to their current phone, see nice specs and just get it!

The K850s main problem atm is that many many people are now aware of the iPhone and could well be swayed by it as it will follow the K850 shortly after release. Ok the iPhone is nowhere near the K850 spec wise but again not many people think about it, they just see something they like and get it.

If you had a proto K850 and showed it to loads of people, especially those with a , moreover K800 users they would be really interested.

To conclude I think that people will buy the K850 either way, and only a small amount of people who look more deeply into it will make a real decision.

There is no danger of the K850i not selling, it will be very easy for retailers to sell as it has so many features. I predict it will be a good seller for a long time to come.

The iPhone won't sell half as much as its just too expensive. Its very rare anyone has to pay more than £50 for handset on contract never mind £269. The other networks will heavily promoting other phones with good discounts and competitive deals so it'll be good for everyone.

So you are saying that you are getting the K850 a week before everybody else? I for one have only heard week 41(blue) and week 45(green) as the earliest release dates. (I spoke to Sony Ericsson last week)
Or have you got a "special deal" with 3 or katching or whoever you buying it from? I´m just curious.

I heard that Luminous Green will be released on week 41 and Velvet Blue on week 45.

I hope green will come out first because I want it. I'd take blue if it wasn't grey on the side.

But don't take much faith into this it still hasn't even been submitted to FCC nor has passed so I'm sure this is just a guess until its passed THEN we'll know its FAR rating.

Hey ppl. RELAX. I DID state that I would NOT trust these guys. Also I said K850i has NOT been SUBMITTED TO THE FCC for approval for sale in the states or for shipment.

So nobody get their panties in a bunch just yet. SE has NEVER made a phone this high on SAR rating - not to my knowledge. So don't panick.

My post was just to say google found something. I never said it was a credible find

Should not have even posted it then I guess.
