No, none of the 3 wireless mice i tried came with any drivers. IIRC windows never tried to download any drivers either. Im just confused as to why the new wired mouse wont work on brothers lappy either when the old one did and the old one was the only mouse he ever used on it. (he prefers the glide pad)

Goto the manufacturers website and download the drivers for your new mouse.

I know you've probably tried this, but have you tried booting up with the new wireless mouse plugged in instead of plugging it in once it has booted?

yea i did. the wireless mouse has gone now, but i tried every combination going while i had it. As i said before i cant understand why this wired mouse wont work with this or my brothers laptop. The only thing I can think of is if Microsft have been f-ing about with stuff via Update, but surely if that was the case there would be loads more people asking for advice instead of just me!

Hi Guys.

I have 7 and vista in two differnet partitions on the same HDD.

How would I install the 7 RC over teh 7 beta without touching my vista partition?

Just put the disc in select where to install and bobs your uncle?

yea, it shoves the beta in a folder called windows.old on c drive (or whatever drive you install it on) which you can delete afterwards. Just make sure you install it on the right partiton! (it will tell you the size so you can tell which is which)
