A friend told me that there are a few new first in a phone features, I think it will be the likes of 4K OLED, slo mo dual camera etc but this has been mentioned here before. He says that there are some important improvements over the XZ Premium and side by side, it will look like a total revolution may not wow Samsung fanboys though, design perhaps. Sony fans will appreciate the new devices. He said the cancellation was to improve something, a small change but he says its something positive. He says that the next Compact has the potential to be a bestseller because of its size and internal specs. The next Xperia phones should be advertised on the Champions League billboards so keep an eye out plus upcoming Sony movies, Venom I think.

What I find strange is the fact that Sony haven't even teased us with anything yet, normally there's some kind of cryptic trailer or at least a hint at what to expect but we've had absolutely nothing.
I hope this confidentiality will not disappoint at the end.

Sound optimistic enough, hopefully, H81xx will comeback in IFA with Snapdragon 845 and x24 modem.
Unless, Sony considering to make official announcement in Computex (their 2nd best market) by mid-year schedule.
The European League football deal will be end of 2017/18, which mean this year though
fingers cross to keep extending contract.

I hope folks realize that a "design change" doesn't necessarily mean the external design. This is highly likely just about radio stuff, not about what the phone looks like...
