^^ sounds like big updates are coming to q4 z devices.
so the rumors until now:
main, compact, phablet. q4 launch.
base features: all metal design, fingerprint touch (lets hope it is true - no swipe) sensor embedded to the power button, imx230, s810 or s820, 4 gb of ram, wireless charging, at least 32gb internal storage as standard+micro sd, ip68 usb port, qhd for main and phablet and fhd for compact.

wow. Sony never did a full metal body smartphone that is waterproof, neither other companies. I think this will be the first smartphone that is waterproof and has a metal body

aren't imx3xx for cameras only? could it even fit inside a smartphone chassis? doubtful rumor.

Just couldnt wait too many months dying with Note 4. But as soon as Z4 (or whatever it's called) gets released - just Shut Up and TAKE MY MONEY! From the rumours i read it will be a SUPERB phone! Way to go sony!

Well ditching the Z series name would not be a great idea. Why would they do that after the brand recognition. That's not a good marketing momove IMHO. Hope that's not true.

Well, it's time that Sony get serious with their mobile division unless they want it to be another money-bleeding division for the next years. The only way, the major OEMs could battle the chinese brands is to put something unique to them and in the case of Sony, that is in the Camera.
Seriously, I had been waiting for far too long now for Sony to innovate in mobile photography since the first Xperia because back then they are capable but it is only NOKIA who was trying to improve it.
