Well I worked on Friday night until midnight so I witnessed some of it while driving my way home. My work is on one of the main boy racer avenues and as I left traffic was backed up quite a bit with what looked like a single cop pulling everyone over. And there were cops everywhere. Seemed like there was one with its lights flashing down every single street. But I didn't see anything particularly bad actually happening besides a bit of speeding.

A year from its release, the W910i has been removed from the online store. It did better than the K850i which released at the same time! I'm thinking the W595 will show up as its replacement soon.

oh sorry! Im obviously out of the loop with this one. Is telstraclear still going forward with thier own GSM network or is it just rumours at the moment? That will make 4 networks if all goes to plan.

Well at first it just said no coverage then went to vodafone, but then it came up again so I went into the lounge (more open space and usually has better coverage) and clicked on nz comms. I got the please wait message for a while then "forbidden network" and it went back to vodafone. Interesting....

Edit: just trying out the new MyPhoneExplorer and it came up again, so I got a few screenshots:

Edit2: They use EDGE network (little E in the corner when connected to them)

Interesting... But I don't think its Edge, I think its an E for 'Emergency Calls Only'. I've had that come up on my phone a few times.
