I just bought a sony m2 for my k800. And it sucks. File transfer is so slow. But I've only tried this using file transfer with my phone connected to the USB. I havent tried putting it into a card reader though.
Will it make a difference?
big big difference! Cable is slow, whereas card reader is more like the proper usb2 speed.

Correct... I used to get twice faster data transfers when using card reader, then copying directly to my K800 using USB cable.

no, the T630 doesn't have an external memory card slot and no, you can't upgrade the internal memory either

T630 is an old phone... It doesn't support memory cards, lacks memory cards slot... Why don't you get some other phone for e.g. K810 or other that supports cards?
T630 is an old outdated legend.

I'm thinking of buying a bluetooth dongle for my desktop, will the transfer rate be faster?
I dont want to plug my phone into the PC anymore, too many viruses, I've reformatted my m2 i think 10 times already.
I just want to eliminate virus transfer.
Thoughts, anyone?

ah...why not just get a free antivirus program like AVG from free.grisoft.com?
btw, viruses on the memory stick won't affect your phone. If your phone crashes a lot etc, then it's not because of viruses.
Cable is massively faster than bluetooth, like about 20 times or something. I don't think you want ot be tgransferring large numbers of songs for example by BT. BT is good for the occasional song and for small things such as games and images and ringtones, and for connecting for pim sync with my phone explorer.

I have AVG free actually.
I know its time for the annual reformat, but I'm too lazy lately.
My phone hasnt crashed yet, just the occassional corrupted "cyanic cropped" picture.

annual format? I must be really slack, it's been 5 years since I installed XP on my box and have never reinstalled. Pretty much everything but the motherboard has changed, but it's one unbroken XP install through all the changes.
Actually I'm quite proud of that effort
The system rarely crashes (only when I experiment with some crap software) and is solid as a rock.
