If the Czechs win over Italy we also have to look at the goals.

Of course yeah, but as I've said before... although I don't want to disregard the Czech Republic now, since they
usually are a good side, its quite unlikely they will manage to
beat Italy simply due to who Italy are, but of course football brings many surprises and is mostly unpredictable, I mean hey the USA nearly did it or could have done it! But ecspecially if you saw the way Czech Republic played against Ghana today (abysmal may be too soft on them

), its highly unlikely that they will. If Ghana had been a slightly more experienced team, with the tons of chances that they had and failed to score, they could have quite easily thrashed the Czech Republic today, possibly going as far as 5/6 - 0!

Re the Italy v USA match
I thought the ref was highly inconsistent. IMO, the ref completely lost it in the latter 2/3 of the second half. Some of the tackles made, were worse than those he red-carded players for earlier in the match.

^ Yeah I agree...
Although obviously the Rossi sending off was the right decision, a rather nasty and bloody elbow to the American Mc Bride.
But the second red card on Mastroeni I felt was a bit too harsh by the referee since there was obviously no actual aim in bringing the Italian down, he went for the ball and was late thats all, deserved a yellow at the most. The third was fair enough, a dangerous challenge worthy of a yellow card and because Pope already had a yellow card it was a fair sending off.
Though I must say that the referee's that we have seen so far who are meant the be the 'best referee's in the world' I feel have been quite bad, have been making too harsh and poor decisions and overall have not been what you'd expect referee's at this level to be. Perhaps its just because of FIFA who 'have' told them to be very strict and not the actual referee's themselves, who knows... The only referee who I have seen that I would say had quite a good fair game I think was the Japanese referee who was in the England vs Trinidad & Tobago match, perhaps some others as well but I remember him the most. The worst by far and I think many will agree is the Mexican referee that was in the England vs Paraguay game, absolutely awful and even during the heat wave Germany was having at the time players from both sides were denied water when play had stopped, which of course with any physical body sport is dangerous due to dehydration, but he is the only referee that has done this fortunately and I hope he is corrected by FIFA or someone soon, as the complaints built up from staff from both England and Paraguay.
Damn I write too much lol
