Can someone post an comparisson between RIBC002 firmware cam version 4.5 and the hybrid cam version 2.1? Im using the hybrid version and i think its gest amazing the video recording got awsome, but i cant do the comparisson cause i aint in home.

1° comparisson (w800 always 1°) (cybershot 2.0mp always 2°)
in this photo w800 had more colour saturation, but has more noise than the cybershot pic.

this one again w800 colours looks exatly thesame as in the pic, but again more noise in w800 pic

this one the 2 pics look pretty much alike but the brown of the bottle is exatly like the w800 one, and i dont see any diference in the macro.

4° comparisson
this was taken in macro mode, w800 once again has shown pretty good colour saturation exatly like reality, and in this one the cybershot took a dark macro picture.

hybrid 2.1 has good performance in low light conditions... way better than R1CA 5.3, and in outdoors... the hybrid really burns out everything... and the color realizations are slightly lower than 5.3
as to R1CA 5.3, has poor performance in low light conditions... but great on outdoors... has more grains compared to the hybrid... and i think a bit sharper.
tho i can live with the hybrid.. its all up to balancing the brightness... if you can tone the proper brightness while shooting outdoors... color reproduction is far better than R1CA.
i really dunno about the others... but this is base on my experience...

1.Flicker correction made Auto matic
2. Focusing changed to Normal from Full range
3. Spot Photometry removed
4. Added sequence algorith from W900
5. Included Scene functio in initialisng of drivers
6. Sharpness changed to 6 from 5
Noticeable Improvement: Have'nt had time to test
NOTE: These drivers are only for testers..........the final drivers will be posted after complete testing.

- kinda blocky on fast moving scenes... and some in low lights too.
- tho this is the best so far compared to previous drivers.
- 9-10 fps
Hybrid 2.1
- jerky playback but definitely good when being viewed in PC.
- good performance in low light...
- getting blocky images on fast moving scenes alone.
- 11-15 fps
again this is from my own investigations...

my god, the difference between the versions 2.1 and 2.2 are dramatic, version 2.1 is much better on details, version 2.2 looks like has no autofocus, the pics with v2.2 also looks a bit blurry.
Compare the pictures, askd keep up the good work i hope you make a "perfect" combination hehe. I'm gonna stick to v2.1 untill our genious aksd makes an better version.
