I just found something strange.....After new firmware I can't seem to record anything using the recorder. when I switch to camera, it will take a picture, but when I switch to recorder and press the button nothing happens. Anybody else have this? It worked before, but since I'm not a big user of recorder I never noticed it until I tried it yesterday.

Darn.....could it be a hardware issue? I don't think so since the camera works no problems. anyone else have any suggestions? I tried to reinstall the firmware already.
edit: Ok I'm a retard.......I just didn't press the camera button hard enough. Maybe psychologically I wanted to be gentle with my baby. It works fine.

Test to say something in the cam and watch the lipsync. It's way off!

I have tried to get that answer too, but it seems that noone is able to test it. But I can confirm that I have the same problem as you do.

I hope it's a firmware issue and they will be able to fix it. At the moment the video recording is pretty useless when sound is an important part of the video clip.

Another bug, which I haven't seen reported yet. Please forgive me if I have missed it and this is just a reposting of that bug.
Open the web browser in your P990 and change to landscape mode.
Enter a page where you have streaming video.
Here is an example:
* Open
http://mobil.svt.se (and make sure you switch to landscape view if you haven't done so already).
* At the top of the screen you will find a link saying "Mobil-TV". Click it.
* At the page you reach you will find another link (not at the top of the screen this time). That link says "Nyheter". Click it.
* And finally the last page. Look for "Rapport". Click it, and the media player should start.
Now the streaming video is played in landscape mode, but it's not filling up the entire screen.
Tap the screen as you would normally do to switch to fullscreen landscape mode. The screen will switch to fullscreen, but the video is rotated 90 degrees clockwise.
The phone usually reboots for me when I am trying to exit the mediaplayer from this condition.

i realized the sound sync bug yesterday. if you view it in the camera mode, its off. but if you view it from the media player. It sync perfectly. I am wondering should i update to the latest firmware. Any major known bugs?

i am having a huge problem with my new 4 gb memorystick it works fine in the computer and other devices but when i put it in my p990 all kinda of wierd things happen like messages from the phone telling me to restart the phone which is the first time i see it and when i restart my phone it never pass the sonyericsson logo then it restart again and again for ever that is if the flip open but if i close the flip sometimes it works or if i put my old 64 memorystick
its like my p990 doesnt want to accept the new memory stick sometimes my p990 says that the memorystick is corropted and some time showing some files but not other which is very wierd i was hoping i would enjoy my 4gb
ofcourse i tried fromating the memorystick couple of time from the phone and from my pc still my p990 having issues with it >
any comments on this issue is appreciated
