Can some one get back to me with any bugfixes and bugs for the lastest firmwares so I can get the first post updated, please?
Can't do the analysis as my PC is out of order!

Hi to all.... I just bought a new W850i last week and I found out maybe there is some software problem for my phone.(Version: CXC1250204 R1GB001).
When I set a special ringtone on first 9~10 contact it's work fine and play according to the ringtone I'm set.But when I add special ringtone on following contact,it won't play the ringtone I'm set....the phone only ring as the most common ringtone I'm set in setting.....so I can't differentiate the call is from who by just listen the ringtone..... Anyone 850 have a same bug with mines...? thanks!

Here is what i have found in the new firmware R1GB001
1- Walkman Player
- Walkman Player have 2 New Skin Colors Orange, White but both not attractive at all for me since text color is the same.
- Rendering Issue when receive phone call while maximizing the player (Black background disappear and Phone Theme take place) has been Fixed.
2- Menu
- Menus Navigation speed improved (not noticed unless you have 2 phones in your hand to compare).
- Videos now Have play preview which is cool **BUT** This lead to phone crash when you scroll to big size videos, Phone Hang for about a minute then restart (This files was play smoothly in the player in the previous firmware)
- Files & Folders in the "Others" folder don't Display correctly, you have to scroll on it to render correctly.
- Call List Issue (stop show new records after blank entry appear in it, an you have to clear the whole list to fix) no more appear for more.
- Orange light effect now work when u play any audio file even not in the walkman player.
4- Camera
- No more green line in videos when work with night mode
Over all
I can't figure out any real improvement in the new firmware sine the ear piece still to soft and almost useless out doors , Some features lead to New Issues like in video preview **BUT** I'm still so happy to have this amazing solid phone.

Me also satisfy with the phone.....so far the only bug for my phone is the ringtone i've mention before....did both ur W850 having the problem i'm mention...? Maybe my phone need upgrade R1JC002 to solve the problem....

Used FOTA to update my
W850 to version R1JC002. Can somebody tell me if there's some differance if you update thru FOTA or SEUS?

Well I had been using the buggy R1GB001 Firmwre since its release and really got sick of my phone performing real sluggy, not switching back on after a shutdown, and it rebooting itself on certain functions.
So I today decided to bite the bullet and firmware upgrade my W850i to R1JC002 via Wotan and let me tell you now, the phone is performing as it should be! So far I've noticed, minimal lag/delay in the menus, phone doesn't reboot when browsing thru the videos in the thumbnail view.
Still lots more to test/fiddle with but R1JC002 seems to be quite a huge improvement on the W850i than the previous R1GB001 bug filled firmware.

I'm doing great with my w850, i just bought last week, and was unbranded and unlock.
Came with the R1G... wich improvements are with the R1J Fw???
and also I want to use my phone in spanish... (only came with chinese and english) it's ok if I use SEUS, will my phone will be in spanish? or I have to use another source? Like wotan?

my w850 is an asian version and has R1GB001_china. so far i have'nt encountered any bugs in it. maybe it's different from the euro version? everything seems to be working fine for now except that i cannot sync my phone's contacts, calendar etc. to my pc. i keep getting an error message "No connection - OR_MPM_OBEX_OP_TIMEOUT". what could be wrong?

New firmware out R1JG001: I just updated my Hong Kong version via SEUS.
I had some issues with "Device mgmt. communication interrupted" before, but that magically went away BEFORE the update.
The only improvement I have noticed is that the video preview no longer locks up the phone if there are large videos.
