Was just wondering if it would be possible to edit 3gp files at some point with this amazing piece of software. My P990 (Orange branded) doesn't like recording for long periods of time and so being able to edit out the 'frozen' sections would be extremely useful to me. Fingers crossed on this!

Yes it would be nice if say you had a music dvd with say,20 different music vids and you only want 1 or 2 vids from it,it would be nice if you could do only a couple.Maybe he`s working on it.Lets hope so.

Guys, update your P990i firmware for improved playback, available now.
Videos open much much quicker.

peter is right but even better than that is the ability to navigate the time line without any lag in really big files...the new firmware makes m3 shine even more

I have a problem with initial install when the program runs away to get the Nero AAC codec. The whole thing crashes. Is this a problem with the nero thing or the M3 thing?
In fact I decided to download it (the nero codec) manually and now seem to be caught in a logic loop. I say 'no' to download manually, M3 asks me where the codec zip is, I point it to the file, and it goes back to the yes/no dialog box again. No way out, no resolution.
Any clues would be helpful.

Oddly I just made it work but I'm not certain how. The loop continued and I ended up with a dozen tabs of the EULA for Nero open, all of which would try and download a new version of the file.
It output first off (using the 'w950') option into MP4 format which the phone refuses to recognise. I'll keep trying.
I'm clearly just too stupid to use this software...
Edit:
Oddly, rebooting the phone did the trick after I removed spaces and hyphens from the file name.
