Bah! My iPod touch delivery date from the AppleStore has been pushed back from the original 1st or 2nd Oct, although the shipping date is still the same!?

Yeah i have mentioned the points you have raised elsewhere on the Forum, they are finding it very hard to hack and crack any of the Touches features and many are worried that the 1.1 Firmware will inflict the same lock down on the iPhone.
So maybe buying an early version via the US or E-Bay may actually now make more sense and then of course never update it to newer Firmware.
This Cat and Mouse game Jobs alluded to is looking like the Cat just ate the Mouse.

Well I'm not a happy chappy.
Got my iPod touch on tuesday from my local apple store and everything was great for a two days.
Then the problems started.
It wouldn't sync correctly with iPhoto, it would sync about half of the photos in some albums, randomly missing out photos???
Also i had to reformat it 3 times due to a syncing problem with itunes???
So i took it back and one of the apple geniuses had a look and said it was faulty and they would exchange it for another one (which was cool with me).
We went to the cash desk to exchange it and guess what? They're sold out! Bloody rubbish.

Yeah... I was wondering about that too! Perhaps its on a container ship from China!
Hopefully that delivery date will change, and 6th Oct is a Saturday anyway...
It's being shipped by TNT, but its not yet in their tracking system...
