theres 1 i took further up, there seems to be less comments, less interest in the modded k800i/k810i camdrivers then there used to be.
Still the same intrest just been really busy doing other things and it's way to cold to go out and take some landscape shots
I personally would love to see an supermode driver, not a forced one but a switch between normal and supermode would be really cool for those shots you can't get with normal mode. See here (http://my.opera.com/LaurensB/blog/2007/12/20/long-exposure-shots) for example what you can do with long exposure shots which are really a lot harder to make withouth supermode and so I can think of a few more examples where you just want to force some settings.
I am using your 2.95 right now and it's a great driver. It works fast and really good but I haven't had a good change to take some pictures, last time I went out I spent to much time going after the girls instead of taking pictures with them, it's to bad I can't share some of the pictures I took early with your cam driver

Sometimes it's really important that some areas aren't over or under exposed if you know what I mean
Anyway keep rocking and developing I will see if I can share some of the pictures I made of firework! They did come out quite nice!

Yeah the zoom is really sensitive, you have to press fast to make it jump one step only.
I think it would be really cool and usefull if you could mod so that when you press the zoom - or + you change the ISO or maybe shutter settings..
is that something that even is possible?
@
LaurensB: What setting did you use for your "long exposure" shots?

I think I used Genus Cam Driver with super night mode. Most of the good pictures I took have an exposure time of 2 seconds (is that the max the K800i can handle?). Those pictures would be way easier to take with a super mode.

Im not sure i know what super night mode is.. is it Twilight Portrait?
And the exposure time, we cant change that in the camera right? Just if we edit the camdriver0.dat?

Just an example ! Cut&Pasted from chengrong's supermode driver explanation image.
So we just have to press 0 to get Information on available supermode settings and don't have to print out ! ....Just dreaming

Super Night Mode :
- 3 Super Night Modes
- Twilight Landscape mode:
* Use EV -1.0 to +2.0 for 4 FPS shutter, Sharpness 04
* Use EV -1.3 for 2 FPS shutter, Sharpness 05 // Super Night mode A
* Use EV -1.7 for 1 FPS shutter, Sharpness 06 // Super Night mode B
* Use EV -2.0 for 0.5 FPS shutter, Sharpness 07 // Super Night mode C
It's something Number1 hasn't implented yet (I don't know why, I doubt anyone would use EV -1.3 in a twilight landscape picture

) but Genus and ModMix have it. Install one of those drivers, select Twilight Landscape and change the EV (with the joystick

) to one of those modes. I used mode C for most of the pictures although it's easier to get results with mode B.
As for editing it in the driver, yes it should be possible although I think we use a trick right now to get the desires results. Perhaps I can hack something (I should be able to do that

) but I think the real pro's probably already tried everything.
I was thinking about hacking together a simple super mode driver with everything we can change right now but withouth manual focus it would be pretty useless
To bad because they K800i could make one kick ass camera! We could even use it with a remote shutter (using MyPhone Explorer and a USB cable):(

GREAT IDEA. It should be possible with DB2020ImageTool.

i can't be botherd with super night and the changing ev crap, my twilight landscape has a shutter speed of 1 second thats the most it's possible to hold still,
@ghostweb thats digital correction of contrast, contrast is
#COM_EVENT(55,00), increasing the contrast also increases the exposure.

Hello, there is a bug on bestpic... Four of nine pictures in bestpic are "black screen"...
Does this bug exist in version 2.8 final?
Thank you.
