I updated my G705 firmware yesterday .. and the firmware now is: R1BA038 but no changes yet ..

So anyone here tried to flash his/her G705 to the W715? Two users of SEWorld did and guess what - no problems AND the dpad switches to orange light when you start the
player!

i flashed my g705 to w715 and it works great! has everything the g705 firmware had plus more!

if the Torch app is the ability to use the flash as a light then no you dont loose it and the version i have doesnt have chinese but you could prob get the firmware that supports it
