Don't really understand how but it seems SEUS fixed what I thought was a hw issue???
I got an error message "Alien Battery" and since I have the original battery I was on my way to the store to get it exchanged... I updated the phone with SEUS and now it works fine...
Anyone else who's seen this? or can explain it to me?
Sorry if this is the wrong thread but go easy on me, I'm new

I've just upgraded my UK unbranded W995 to R1GA026 using the OTA option on the phone.
I still have my album art in my album list.

Just for you info that I downloaded the r1ga026 firmware from mobilefree.ru, sadly the camera doesn't save the pictures taken. So people be careful when using that firmware from mobilefree.bec I don't have the problem when I have hue updated firmware from SEUS.
Also I saw only main firmware R1GA028 in se-tool support. Probably will be flashing it in two days. And here's is one doubt that can se-tool firmware be flashed by using a2-uploader?
If so I'll post the firmware file so that it can be shared to all.

For every other CDA latest firmware on SEUS is R1GA026

I backedup my W995 and then upgraded the software but now when I try to restore it won't and just says error with no explanation, how do I fix this!?
I read something about reinstalling the usb drives but how I do this?
I reinstalled the PC Suite but it still does not work :/
I hope you can help because loosing all my contacts is a rather daunting and unpleasant feeling

Try restarting both your computer and your phone. Same thing happened to me but I managed to restore everything back after a reboot
