mines black, from your screen pics, looks like yours is silver,is that right?
funny how the colour determines the sofware, you would think the hardware and firmware would be the same.

Yup - mine's silver.
true, but we had this with some of the older models as well .... would also seem from
reading the threads that generic silver ones didn't have as many issues as the black
ones (CPW "apparently" pulled the black ones !)

shame that it only appears to be an optmisation update (menu responses). there's no
media search function or rds or equaliser (that I've found so far) and even after some
judicious tidying i can still only manager 66.5 MB free on the c: partition

OK. Sorry for didn't beliving. Few questions:
Is it faster?
What bugs have been repaired?
Is it louder?
What about alarm? Is it louder and don't stop vibrating?
Check file size of picture - less compressed or not?

No equalizer, no RDS - did SE people don't read forums about their phones?

compression appears the same - 9 mpix = 2260kb on the card, 12 mpix = 2774kb

don't use the alarm .... menus are def. quicker though (thank the gods!)

never had the standby "bug" so can't comment.

mine's only got about 250 songs/pictures so I'm not going to get the media bug
either.

Glorfingal - Maybe its worth looking at the Bugs list thread and just going thru some of the ones that a few of us had experienced.

Like pauses/clicks during mp3 playback
Phone log

Alternatively just tell us to wait our turn and make us suffer Which could be a month or two from Vodafone, lol. ( I wish/hope they surprise us though)

Don't use... never had... can't tell

Something is wrong. U could just turn alarm clock on and check for example. It only takes two minutes.
Check bug list and tell us something. We're impatient

Thats true but nevertheless the OS on satio is slow and have too many lags even for a S60. I agree the only good part of the iphone its the funny and fluid OS plus lots of applications that you can have without buy but i still preffer the hardware part and looks of satio over this

Dont get me wrong im not an iPhone hater. In fact i'd love one. I've liked it since it first came out 2 years ago. But for me it just does not have the functionality i want and need. Still no Bluetooth file sharing ? i use that function every single day of my life. Without it as a funtion of my phone it would be like going back to 2001 all over again. Yay.

I havent checked my update yet since my Satio is on charge. I wont bother updating until Thursday anyway as i havent the time to reinstall all the apps and settings the way i want them until then. Also im in no rush since i find the Satio pretty problem free ATM.
