i have my ELM now!
i traded my Kita (Yari) which a trader in greenhills bought for a very inexpensive value.
theoretically, elm should be brilliant in low light pics due to its bigger aperture. guess the algorithm isn't that mature yet..
here is a pic i shot just earlier
this pic is in its 5mp glory. But the file size is just less than 300kb..
for comparison purposes, here is the same pic taken by c901:
c901 pic file size? it is 1.4mb..

my elm now is connected with my laptop mate.
but i have two more shots in store.
here is one pair:
c901 captured a flower vase with just a portion of light illuminating it from a window
here is elm's effort in capturing the same scene:
sharper (albeit darker) photo by Elm

Now the next picture is taken by my K810:
The colours on the picture taken by the K810 are more accurate than the same picture taken by the Elm. In certain light conditions the Elm does that - produces colder pictures, especially people's faces look unnatural in certain conditions. And the picture of the drawers is actually not in artificial light.
I just wonder do you think that this is something that can be fixed with an update from Sony Ericsson, do you think they will fix this or is it something that is completely hardware related and will not get fixed? I just don't know much about firmware updates so I would appreciate your opinions, like for example if SE have fixed things like that before with firmware updates on other phones?

On my old W800i very often I used the cloudy mode even that it was sunny,it gave the pictures more color.
