I don't think that the NT kernel would allow for a 100% port of the Phase 1 system, but I am sure they will have some variation of it at MWC.

Maybe they could use one of those SoCs: http://www.anandtech.com/show[....]t-400-krait-300-snapdragon-800

..but I am still not convinced that they can handle the sensor and the required oversampling, especially in video mode.. 1 billion pixels/sec

I really don't care, the 808 is an awesome smartphone.. I really don't miss anything, so.. I am good until something that can fully replace it comes along.

Excellent DoF with the shots here, this phone is perfect for macro/portrait imaging, if Nokia would plan to integrate this sensor on their new WP device they need much larger aperture and more manual controls for that and the shutter.

Actually I don't think its good for portraits or macro... the sensor is not big enough to really blur the background for proper portrait photography, and on the macro side you can get close enough to the subject.

The 808 shines in landscape photography...

here is some xenon power there are many stand alone cameras that can't pull that kind of clarity and white balance when shooting in the dark..
