Thanks for posting randomuser.
The fast capture actually works quite well. It shouldn't take more than a second or two to wake up and unlock the phone.

Guys the touchscreen doesn't work underwater. Wet Finger Tracking only applies when its used in the rain or there is a splash of water on the screen.
Randomuser, can you please confirm if Sony has specifically provisioned to use 1 of the volume buttons as a camera key when in Photo/Video Recording mode? Please?
Thanks in advance.

Xperia V is a very unique model and it presents great qualitys: dust/water resistance & LTE! its a clean and fresh take on a mid/high tier smartphone. I really feel Sony should push this a lot.

@Hardened
Not officially but developers at XDA will take care of that, don't worry

There's a long wait my friend. It looks like it will come out in December.
Very annoying!

Yeah, one month before CES, when Sony usually announces the new flagship. That's even worse than Xperia Arc S' case...

Nothing wrong at all IMO. The V was never intended to be the flagship but a mid range phone that will sell in 2013 globally.
It's more of a sidekick to the 2013 Flagship, which is why it's not being promoted much this year.
