Glad you're enjoying yours SK

The new TW/Magazine UI looks slick so you may just get what you wished for. I'm toying with the idea of waiting for the Note 4, but with the current S5 rumors, I may just be at Vodashop on launch day, lol!

Hopefully I get what I want I just hope that it is not a heavy, set of software that wears down the phone and hogs RAM and makes the phone run below spec potential.

I once owned a phone that ran below spec, the Xperia X10. I remember trying use the Timescape app and wondering how on earth a 1GHz CPU, +300MB RAM having phone could lag so much at the time, hated that app, it slowed down the phone, luckily they removed it in an SW update, it's not nice to own an expensive tool that doesn't perform as promised.

^I suppose that means you can sympathise with the galaxy tab 10.1 (2014 edition) owners then... Not to mention future tab pro variant buyers...

Haven't used the Tab10.1 2014 or the Pro tablets, but having used a friend's Tab3 10.1 2013 (Intel based one) ,Xperia Tablet Z and a Nexus 7, I do sympathise with most of those who own Android tablets, it's an outrage, it seems Nexus remains the way to go in terms of Android tablets.

Without a doubt Nexus is the way to go with Android tablets. I much prefer those.

Samsung has said that they are serious about software development so one of the future developments for the Note III needs to be a slimming down of Touchwiz such that it isn't a drag on the phone. Not that the N III is by any means a slow device it is zippy and from what I am seeing for those who have flashed Kit Kat it gets even faster especially with browser tests.

Cash Converters priced a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 wrong I think an unlocked white one that's in excellent condition, was advertised for £279, the S4's in there are £299 lol I couldn't resist putting a deposit down so it will be mine very soon hehe.

Paid it off today, it's an awesome phone nowhere near as big as I thought it would be!!!!!!!!!!!

Why do I feel uncomfortable tapping on the screen hard with the s pen? Lol paranoid it's gonna damage it but I'm not used to having a stylus at all and what good would the phone be if the screen couldn't withstand presses from the pen.

Good buy, I like the S-Pen although I don't use it often. I officially hate touchwiz as it is though. Unless Samsung comes with something new soon I am going to slam a new Rom on it.
