That problem is also common with Z1 and Z. I experienced it with both Z and now Z1.
Btw, when i clean area near lens and flash it's all good.

did any of you who experienced this tried to use fill flash or red eye reduction? maybe it attenuates the result

Same here on my Z1... The LED flash and area around it has to be 100% clean to avoid light bleeding issue...

lol not at all ... I really dislike white headphones,reminds me too much of ...,and those headphones were offered only in this color,I even called the shop to ask for a different color... but it was not possible to change
The phone itself looks very elegant but a bit boring, If I had the choice again I would go for the black.
And now I know why they did not call it a Mini but Compact... Because it is the biggest phone I have ever had
