Well the S801 should make it better battery life and smoother than the S4

The Best Smartphone Display

Gizmodo

Seems Samsung really have another winner here. When it comes to display I can't see any other Android maker catching up except maybe LG, the G3 should come with quite a jaw dropping display if it is QHD.

From Displaymate:
Best Smartphone Display: Based on our extensive Lab tests and measurements, the Galaxy S5 is the Best performing Smartphone display that we have ever tested. It has a long list of new records for best Smartphone display performance including: Highest Brightness, Lowest Reflectance, Highest Color Accuracy, Infinite Contrast Ratio, Highest Contrast Rating in Ambient Light, and smallest Brightness Variation with Viewing Angle. The Galaxy S5 has raised the bar for top display performance up by another notch – an impressive achievement for OLED technology!

I find I still prefer IPS like my G2 or for example the Lumia 1520. Still rich colours but not too over saturated & never any risk of burn in. The Galaxy S 3 was probably the worst screen for outdoor viewing with a horrible blue tint I did see a dummy model of the S5 in O2 store the other day it looks better in white but still think the design is just too bland & too much like S4

That must have been a faulty S3 screen then, mine has no problems, neither does the girlfriends or other people I know who own S3's. Which is a lot.

It wasn't a faulty screen I have seen many S3's like that & other AMOLED screens the whites have a blue tint
