Picked up a pair of WH-1000xm3's today to replace my 1st gen ones to complement my XZ2 and already the difference is night and day. Probably the best noise Cancelling headphones money can buy. 😀

Louder? For me it's still the same.

A friend of mine has an XZ2. His device suffers from speaker sound distortion.

Sony claim that the issue was resolved. However, he reports that the problem persists. Sony claim that 51.1.A.4.258 or earlier are the affected versions, while his version is 51.1.A.11.5.

Did you or anyone else encounter this issue and had it resolved?

I think in that case it's a faulty unit.
Something that couldn't be solved by software update.
Mine's been perfect from day one and it's still like this.

The photos are definitely better in Android Pie, all aspects.
From dynamic range to details with higher ISO, especially the white balance, which is much faster to adjust and a bit warmer, but not yellowish.
Faster write speeds with SD cards, faster response swaping apps, faster loadings on games, faster everything

Sony nailed it. Congrats.

So my carrier has finally pushed out Android 9.0 to my XZ2. Hoping for some decent performance updates.

On the latest update the phone is even better.
Battery is better, giving me a day and a half with heavy use and almost two full days using moderately.
The signal reception seems stronger now too.

Is 3-4 hours screen on time good or bad? (Consists of quite a lot of gameplay with games like Minecraft, goat simulator, subway surfers and some others) Its a big improvement from my old phone but I have heard reports of other people getting much more, even without Stamina mode on ( I have it on) Also why is the WiFi range so low? I can't connect to my router from my bedroom but I can on my Nexus 10 (I'm not sure of the distance, maybe between 5-20 metres?) Any help is really appreciated, thank you in advance!
