@Phoenix81:

Thanks for the photos - very good comparison! Nokia´s VGA/MP sensor in the dark is not affected by that colored "grain/sand" but SE´s is. Nokia shots are clean, K700i have always a bit of noise.

I don´t think that K700i needs a blur option - shots are detailed and if in a particular one we need, we have always Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop

If there was any (good) filter to remove or atenuate that noise... Paint Shop Pro has "Adjust" => "Add/Remove noise" => "Moiré Pattern Removal". In most T610´s shots this operation had to be done and it should help K700i night shots too.

Yes the 7610's shots look better in night mode and closeup, but who cares, the K700 is a neat little phone anyway. I'll post some shots taken with my new K700 when its done charging for the first time.

Thanks for a beautiful shot and comparison Avinash!

Very good lighting condition to take a shot in. The k700 blurts out a crisper (but noiser ) image and more saturated tones of colors with a pink color cast.

Yah the hardware is lower but hey... it could be easily cleaned up in photoshop!

Now Philippines! Where is my k700!!!!

please guys it is not fair to compare pictures that taken with 7610 and k700,because the settings you have when you take a vga size picture with 7610 is normal quality or basic it doesnt have an option that you can take high quality with vga size but k700 has that option like p900.
with k700 you can have high quality with 640*480 it doesnt depends the quality from the size of the picture but in 7610 the quality depends from the size because 7610 doesnt have that options(picture size,quality) seperate.
sorry guys i cant explain it better my english is not so good

Just to re-edit the porche picture taken with the K700i using Corel Photo Paint instead which looks better, removes the grains but still has details.
