it's interesting because if SE didn't use a Sony module, then their claim in the press release about drawing on Sony Corporation's "colossal imaging know-how" isn't very valid...

hmm.. i'm curious to know how u came about the conclusion to think that SE used the Sharp module in their cameras. hehe.

No real proof, just that the only manufacturers of mobile phone camera modules i know are Liteon, Matsushita, Mitsubishi, Samsung and Sharp. No Sony as far as I've read. Also, the Sharp module appears to be the first 2MP module with autofocus; it's already used in the TM200.
I probably am/could be wrong though. Corrections welcome...
