BTW There is a distinction between Sony and
here in NZ
I know for a fact you won't find a single nokia carkit in any
nz staff member car.
I have a mate that works at Vodafone and their whole strategy seems wierd lately, I would say they're only going to concentrate on 3g phones from now on. Who knows what their issue with the W900 was though
(you'd think they'd want something like that to put against telecoms 1g "music" phone)

Aus/NZ will operate as one reporting to the Oceania Regional Head. NZ positions are moving into NZ. You can find more info in today's Telecommunications Review

I see W900i has disappeared from
NZ website. No W810i yet - would NZ customers recognise the difference between it and the K610i? K610i has MP3, M2 plus the all important (to Vodafone) 3G features. Perhaps it would be a better choice for our tiny market.
Will SonyNZ or
NZ release the 4GB and 8GB MSPD cards? I hope so. It's hard to find even the 1 or 2Gig cards at the moment.
Sorry if I sound overly cynical, but it frustrates me immensly how little choice we get here in NZ.

I know W800 has been dropped and the eagerly awaited W900 never even got started, but does this mean W810i is already here?
Has anyone else noticed the W900 in the Navy ads? I wonder how they got one? That ad came out last year before the release of the phone overseas...

Stink about the new Walkman phones not coming to NZ.
I ended up getting a W900 from Singapore.
