Phoned o2 online there (again...) and went to the cancel contract department. I told them I wanted the k750i but it wasnt availiable for an upgrade, so I was thinking about canceling. The guy on the other end put me on hold and then came back and said it should be availiable for upgrades in 14 days... but phone back next week because it could be sooner. He also said that because I spens about £50 a month on my phone, I should be able to get it for free instead of the £49.99 upgrade price.
He gave me his name and extention number. Does anyone know how the extention numbers work? Do i phone up the Same O2 number and when I get through just dial the extention number or somthing?

well almost. Let me know when you actually manage to get the upgrade and I can give it a go. Im slightly annoyed as mine is not an 'upgrade' as such- im on one of their monthly contracts just now.

I'm in my 11th month now. I wonder what they would say if you said "i want to upgrade or cancel" and then they told you to wait 14 days but you were adament about leaving. Reckon they'd upgrade us? If they said "ok then leave" i'd just purchase another 12 month contract off their site anyway since mine is up!

i'm in my 10month now, on online 50 which is perfect for me, i know i'd be charged a fortune even if i could upgrade so i just got a new one on online 50 for £49.99, cancel my old one, change of number, no big deal!

yeah just got a txt from orange to say it's now available for upgrade and rang my local shop and it's def coming this week and they think tomorrow!!!
