Warid is a good company but only one fault that monthly GPRS charges.

I asked this earlier also and asking again for being unreplied last time.

Mobilink GPRS is available only on postpaid. And Mobilink postpaid is available only in big cities. So if I am a postpaid owner and currently in a small city, will GPRS work for me?

@radarblip: Dial 111 and ask them whether they offer GPRS in the city u contemplating to shift to. If u ask me, logically speaking it should not work in small cities/towns when Mobilink has launched GPRS only in big cities! This message was posted from a K750

@Radarblip: I have an Indigo (Mobilink Postpaid) connection. It works fine in Lahore but in connection with my work I often need to travel to Khewra. At this location I do not get the "G" sign on my phone which means that GPRS is not available.

I believe that for Mobilink its GPRS service is still confined to the 5 cities it launched initially about 2 months back and as you rightly said limited to postpaid Indigo only

RMZ

Mobilink GPRS is down for the second day. Just wondering if Mobilink cannot manage its GPRS though it has been launched at such a small scale (5 cities only and limited to Indigo customers) what will happen if and ever this is opened for the entire country and Jazz customers included.

Just a view

I think MOBILINK has only started GPRS to have a stamp that it is a company providing GPRS and is trying to compete with other companies.

no there is no plan for launching new postpaid packages by mobilink, Because they has already launched it ,named their 4 Indigo packages as INDIGO FREEDOM PLAN 1 to 4... and this time like Al-warid these packages contains low line rent and the ratio of free minutes to the linerent will increases ,, But the most discusting is that the prepaid mobilink user could not change his package into postpaid like ( telenor or Al-Warid)... and also they charged CPP charges 1.6 rupees on all offnet callz ( mobilink to other network) .
