If you write an sms and don't finish it you can store it in the outbox.

Mine gets stored in the drafts folder. The outbox is just like the outbox in outlook, message goes in there while it is been sent. No real need for it, that I can see.

thanks!!!

You don't actiually "use" it yourself... the outbox folder is used when sending an mms message. The message is placed in the outbox for as long as it is being sent (or trying to be sent, which sometimes takes a while depending on connection). As soon as the message is sent, it's moved out of the outbox. It's very handy when sending mms in my opinion.

lovewalrus, if you press the joystick once then let go, then the video should pause. Then in that pause mode, you can press left or right without holding it down, and vid should rew or ff?

That's how it works on my K750 anyway

Hi Glenny, shouldn't the messages go to DRAFT folder instead of OUTBOX? But hey, you've just gave me an alternative to Note taking on K750.

Thanks, buddy.

unfinished sms goes to the "drafts" automatically, if you choose "yes" when ask if you like to save it to the drafts.

when sending a complete sms message with receipient(s) fails, it automatically goes to the "outbox". so you can just choose to try to send it again...

that's how it was with my SE t610, and then with my SE k500i, and then with my SE k700i, and then with my SE p900, and now with my SE k750i!!!

Did you notice that K750i doesn't allow you to save sms to the memory sticks? I also noticed that its already telling me that message is already full despite the fact that i still have lots of free phone memory.

Hi ryanbp,

AFAIK, short-messages goes to phone memory of SE phones first, if it is full then it goes to SIM card. I've never heard about SMS goes to memory card on SE phones, but there's a software for SymbianOS Series 60 that allow users of Nokia phones to store SMS on memory card (MMC).
