@deepsme, sure we can trust Nokia for the latest update on the SE P990! Look, the UK SE web site still claims release in June for the P990 and many online shops are posting availability early to mid July. Relax, it'll be here soon.

@ Jah,only two times have i ever called SE for a product enquiry.the first time i called was in feb06 and they said a definite april release for the p990.
the second call was in mid-may where i got my first blow when it was said a definite august release!since then ive just been relying on this thread for the news. i pray to god that you pple are right because i want to gift my dad the best mobile he will see for quite some time even though his bday has already gone on the 22nd of may.
I just hope that SE dont make it that late that my choice for the best changes.
Till then my good wishes are with

I've never known such a depressing thread, with so many people desperately waiting for the P990 to arrive.
Incidentally, I picked up a copy of the CPW buyers guide for June at lunch and notice the P990 is now listed as ... "from July"
Sure wish it was available right now as my P900 is dying. The battery warning indicator comes on, even though there's plenty of juice left. I bought a new battery for this a couple of months ago and now that's doing it too!
Even did a master reset on it on Sunday, still having problems.
On the other hand I'm getting really worried that the P990's going to be a bit of a turkey being so delayed and full of instability issues from what others are saying.
It makes me wonder if I should buy something cheap for 12 months until the P990 has stabilised or it's replacement is out.

I think this may be a retail P990i:

The "P990i" logo has replaced the "Quickshare" logo.
If this is a retail P990i then I think we should expect devices on sale in around two weeks.

With the m600 already being released it seems like this phone should be out soon. At least I hope so because the longer it takes the more I am going to want to get an m600
