Am I hearing 720p? Dual core 1.2GHz Snapdragon should also be there as a minimum. But I won't get my hopes too high on a very good battery life though.

Yup 1080x720 AMOLED screen

And the Xperia X11 runs a Qualcomm 1.2 ghz processor. The X12 though runs a TI 1.5 ghz processor.

I already mentioned about the screen. ITs a 4inch screen (AMOLED) with a resolution of 1080x720.

@pavlov's dog

Sorry no info on multitouch.

@legen

Well by next year these specs are gonna be par for the course for most supersmartphones.

X12 also has a Gyroscope

@Pavlov's dog

I wish I knew how it looked

But I am guessing the X11 will follow the X2 design philosophy and X12 will follow the X10 design theme. X12 is likely to follow the human curvature philosophy too. ( This is just my guess so don't believe that this is gonna be true, it may or may not come true)

Same for materials used No clue

P.S. IF i get any info on the design and materials used or anything else for that matter, rest assured ill share it with you all

Wow, the X12 is looking to be something big, yet slim. So so far the specs are:
- 4" 1080x720 (1280? if not that's not really 720p I think, and also a 1.5 aspect ratio) AMOLED screen.
- 10mm thick
- TI OMAP 4 @ 1.5GHz (4430 clocks @ 1GHz while 4440 clocks higher)
- 12MP camera w/ up to 1080p recording
- Android 2.2 (for now, then 3.0?)
- Gyroscope

Pretty good. What about:
- RAM
- ROM
- Front-facing camera
- VGA, QVGA,...
- FM Radio and/or Transmitter
- Battery
- Size (width and height)
- HDMI/Micro HDMI
- MicroUSB
- 3.5mm jack
- A/V out
- LED notification
- Accelerometer
- Proximity Sensor
- Ambient light sensor
- Camera lens
- Network frequencies/bands (ie will it work on AT&T's 3G, and/or T-Mobile's, etc...)
- HSPA(+), CDMA, or HSPA(+) and CDMA

Thanks for the info

What do you mean AMOLED + 1.5GHz not possible? Which one? AMOLED exists already, maybe it's the next gen AMOLED. However, I'm guessing that it might be IPS like the iPhone 4 since AMOLED can't support anything higher than WVGA.

Dual-core Snapdragon won't be out in smartphones until next year, but he said TI for the X12. For the X11 I think SE might use the newer MSM 7 or MSM 8.

The one that SE might use for the X12 is the TI OMAP 4440 which clocks higher than 1GHz, and is also dual-core. It also has the POWERVR SGX540 GPU which is also used in the Samsung Galaxy S. A very powerful SoC indeed, both for processing instructions, and for graphics/gaming.

@smclion102

I guess what should matter more is the fact that whatever info I have shared here is not fake

Anyways let me tell you that the X12 is not gonna be the first device to get 1.5 ghz processor, HTC will showcase the HD3 with 1.5 ghz processor in two days.

TI OMAP 4 processor is the one being used in the X12. You can Google it for more info

P.S. I never mentioned 1.5 ghz "snapdragon"

@lxAMNxl

Sorry buddy no info on any of those Will update once I get any

Didn't the Qualcomm CEO recently say 1.5GHz chips for Q1 only to be corrected by his PR team that it's 1.2GHz for Q1 and 1.5GHz later in the year?

I never mentioned 1.5 ghz Qualcomm for X12

I repeat, X12 uses a TI OMAP 4 1.5 ghz processor.

X11 though uses Qualcomm 1.2 ghz processor.

And before someone else starts accusing me of providing wrong info, please read the following excerpt from the PCmag article on the Qualcomm 1.5 ghz processors not being available until later next year and 1.2 ghz processors being available from Q1 2011.

"Apparently he meant the 1.2GHz dual-core chips will be coming then, which makes much more sense as they've been sent out to manufacturers to begin popping them into handsets."
