Which makes me wonder why the flippin' LED only comes on / flashes when THE BATTERY IS LOW! And actually - if the phone is running on AC power it doesn't matter how much power it consumes does it?
When i mentioned the flashing LED, i meant it uses more power when flashing rather than being on constantly, but not too much that it would drain the battery quickly when it was already on a low charge.
When you plug the phone into the AC or USB, AFAIK it still uses the battery power. The phone never actually powers itself from the AC or USB - thats why if you plug the phone in when there is no battery in the battery compartment nothing happens.

thanks for the info guys... you've been very helpful
i just have a couple more questions:
1) Would it be ok if I'll charge the phone even if its not yet Battery Low? let's say like i still have 45% battery life...
2) How will I know if the phone is made from a european or asian country? can it be verified in its software aside from the box w/c indicates where it is made? They say that the manufacturers of SE in Europe is Sweden & in Asia is China & Malaysia. (pls. correct me if im wrong).
thanks!

1. Yes, it does not matter. In fact, the battery the K750i uses prefers to be charged when it is only half full. Full charges from flat actually wear the battery out quicker.
2. You can find out where your phone was made by taking the battery out and looking inside at the sticker in the back of the phone.
IMO it doesnt matter where the phone was made, all SE phones ive owned have always been of high quality.

however, it matters what firmware region the phone is running on..
EU firmware have multi-character search for phonebook
CHINA firmware does not support multi-character search for phonebook
