Is it not a K700 picture anylonger - just because Noiseware has been used to remove a litle noise ?

Sure - someone might come here to see what they can expect from the K700 - but Im not showing them something they cannot expect - they can achieve the same using K700 and noiseware as I can.

That is what is interesting really - not just how pictures look when someone hold the phone above his head in a dark barroom and blindly takes a picture. This tells equally litle - and often you hear people judge the cam as being crap because all they do is take these impossible pictures not having any idea of what they are doing.

Naturally pictures that are totally changed in photoshop arent as interesting - but a small carefull touch up doesnt harm. Besides you cant just take a poor picture and make it look really good in photoshop - if it doesnt have the information to begin with it wont get it in photoshop.

heres a quote of what the original threadmaker wrote:
"this thread shall be used to post all your pictures taken with the K700
i dont have a K700 yet, but them of you who have, can post your pictures"

I dont see anything in there saying its not allowed to touch up ones pictures - and us such the purpose of the thread is subject to interpretation. Your interpretation may differ from mine.

I do agree though - that its a good idea to inform if pictures has been touched up in any way so that the viewer are aware.

Interesting debate. I agree with @TheRealSpawn, and like to post pics taken with K700 with max quality, so just little noiseremover make great results.('cause K700 has enough good camera to make it possible).
(On the other hand, I think, there's no help to poor qality of video clips, especially in shaky and fast moving hands)

Of course it's ok to inform if picture has been touched up and what software is used. - As I made with @McKinley's pic made in dark of bar, look at bottom of page 117 of this topic http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=61289&start=1740

@gushter....

Just downloaded 'noiseware community addition' dunno whether this is the right one to have other than it was free !
Took a picture in my lounge tonight (with the phone light on) of my sub but because of the lighting it was pretty pants !

I tried ms photo 9 which has an option to reduce the noise however, noiseware just using the default settings did a very nice job considering the original !

Thanks for posting the link to the earlier post it now means i will be using my camera more now that i know I can get a reasonable picture in low light situations

It's not the most powerful sub ever, but with 90 watts and 25watts each for the 5 surround speakers it kicks some ass

No editing....

Having used Noiseware
